About our agency

Opulent Life Financial is an independent insurance agency, and our agency NPN is 22167799. Licensed agents offer insurance products in the states where they hold licenses. Because availability varies by state and product, not all products or features are available in all states.

Carriers and underwriting

We work with 30 leading carriers. However, carrier names belong to their respective owners, so their appearance does not imply endorsement. Each product requires underwriting and carrier approval, and therefore the issuing carrier makes the final decision.

In addition, each guarantee depends on the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company.

Indexed universal life

Indexed universal life insurance is not an investment in the stock market or in any index, so it is not a security. The policy does not guarantee cash value growth, because caps, participation rates, fees and policy charges limit that growth.

Moreover, loans and withdrawals reduce the death benefit and cash value, and they may cause the policy to lapse or create a tax liability. Illustrations do not guarantee future performance.

Term life insurance

Term life insurance provides coverage for a specified period and does not build cash value. Therefore, coverage ends at the end of the term unless you renew or convert it, which may cost a higher premium. Products, terms and availability vary by carrier and state, and underwriting applies.

Whole life and final expense insurance

Whole life guarantees depend on the timely payment of premiums and on the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. However, the insurer does not guarantee dividends, if any, and loans and withdrawals reduce the death benefit and cash value.

Final expense insurance is whole life insurance with smaller face amounts. In addition, graded and guaranteed issue plans may pay a reduced benefit during an initial period. Products, benefits, ages and availability vary by carrier and state, so underwriting applies.

Annuities

Annuities are insurance contracts that insurance companies issue, so the FDIC does not insure them, and they are not bank deposits. Guarantees depend on the claims-paying ability of the issuer.

Moreover, withdrawals may carry surrender charges and ordinary income tax, and withdrawals before age 59½ may also trigger an additional federal tax penalty. Fixed indexed annuities are not investments in the stock market or any index, because the insurer credits interest using a formula.

Veterans

Opulent Life Financial has no affiliation with or endorsement from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Social Security, Medicare or any other government agency. Coverage is private life insurance that insurance companies issue, and plans, benefits and eligibility vary by carrier and state.

However, government-sponsored veteran life insurance programs are separate, so visit va.gov for information on those.

Careers and earnings

Earnings are not guaranteed. Insurance sales income is commission-based, so it varies with individual effort, skills, licensing, market conditions and other factors. Each agent must hold the proper license in every state where he or she sells insurance.

Not tax, legal or financial advice

Opulent Life Financial does not provide tax or legal advice. Therefore, please consult a qualified tax professional, attorney or financial advisor about your own situation before you make decisions.
